Annual Reports

Despite working under immense pressure during a very challenging and unique year, the North Metropolitan Health Service workforce has exemplified our values of care, respect, innovation, teamwork and integrity while achieving our mission of improving, promoting and protecting the health and wellbeing of our patients, population and community.

In addition to activities, performance and financial results, our 2019/20 Annual Report focusses on how we made a difference to the health and wellbeing of our patients, consumers and staff against the following key strategies:

  • Striving for better patient health outcomes by continuously improving clinical excellence;
  • Further developing centres of excellence to retain a strong teaching, training, research and innovation focus;
  • Strengthening our engagement and partnership with patients, carers, staff and our community;
  • Enabling, empowering and engaging our workforce; and
  • Enhancing our clinical services through professional and efficient corporate support.

The NMHS 2019/20 Annual Report celebrates the many achievements of our staff and how their professionalism and ongoing commitment to excellence in health care has enhanced our patients’ and consumers’ health and hospital journey.
